    The relationship between Man and Nature is becoming increasingly complex, it’s rare that a filmmaker can bring us so close to that relationship with such intimacy and authenticity.  This year’s 1ST prize winner reminds us that even when there appears to be no hope left, the beauty of nature is always worth fighting for.

    A beautifully crafted film using a wide variety of cinematic techniques to document the lives of lemmings and larger creatures in a vast tundra landscape. the film had a pleasing visual and narrative flow developing a storyline of interlinked wildlife and the impact of climate change.

The spectacular imagery of this film deserves to represent the wild nature of Patagonia.
